For those of you insinuating that this is people w/ outdated systems/drivers, you are incorrect. ATi already tweeted that they know the issue is because they mistakenly packaged an old OpenGL version into the latest ATi Rage performance hotfix.

Installing the proper version of the open GL driver should fix the problem."

I can confirm that that the ATI Rage performance drive released on 4th OCT is unstable. It caused malfunctioning with my G15 keyboard, and graphics were still bad in some areas of rage.

So yeah ATI messed up with the rage performance package. So YOU SHOULD uninstall it if you have that driver version.

Here is the link to another forum, that explains it all;

I installed the rage driver previously, campaign was ok but multiplayer was absolutely broken. Not to mention it broke my keyboard.

So yeah ATI messed up with the rage performance package. So YOU SHOULD uninstall it if you have.

Thank you for this. These Rage drivers are basically unstable and won't play Counter-Strike 1.6

Also people are still installing the rage performance driver that every rage article is advertising on the internet. - tis the main reason why i originally posted this topic

The beta driver (which u can find at the first link in my original post) was posted today, 8th October

I am saying that you should install this driver:

Until a new, proper driver is available.

Your information is incorrect.

The reference to the problematic OpenGL support is based on AMD's twitter feed from Oct 4. Andrew D was making a reference to the Oct 3 driver lacking the OGL support. He was saying not to use the Oct 3 driver.

http://twitter.com/#!/CatalystCreator/status/121248985557118976

On Oct 4, as he predicted, they released the second Rage performance driver and it improved the OpenGL support in comparison to the Oct 3 driver. AMD has since been working on another AMD RAGE/BF3 unified driver which will include additional fixes; however, this has not been released yet. According to Todd Hollenshead, this will be released today:

Working to get the new ATI drivers up but won't happen tonight. Tomorrow for sure they tell me.

Certainly I understand your frustration if you are experiencing issues with your G15 keyboard, or other issues. Obviously, people are still experiencing issues with the Oct 4 driver and hopefully these will be resolved with the RAGE/BF3 unified driver.

Please use this thread to log your keyboard issue: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1237937-new-rage-ati-driver-has-ruined-logitech-g15-keyboard/

If you have other issues please use the corresponding thread.
