So, you've decided you want to throw your hat into the bloody,
poo en-crusted arena that is the MMO world? No doubt, you have
your eyes wide open to the truth that developing and running an
MMO is akin to running for President. Prepare for the hate!
And don't act surprised when your forums start to glow like Nagisaki
at dusk.

If you think that the level of negativity that at times is seen
on the regular ES forums is bad, then imagine that multiplied by a
factor of 10 along with thousands of angry fans resorting to actual
witchcraft to place curses on the next four generations of your children
because it was not what they wanted, but dammit, they're going to buy and play your
game anyway.

Why? Just for the sheer, evil thrill that comes with taking a piece of meat,
fresh off the bus, backing it up in the shower, and repeatedly ramming it
with everything and everyone available on D-Block until the next morning
where it's left, still shivering, a bloodied corpse in the corner

Is it logical? No.
Can you please them? Only if your willing to cut out the still beating heart
of one of your employees and offer it up to the angry god that is the MMO community,
will they be appeased, but only for a few hours.
