When dragons kill my horses due to the poor beasts fighting instead of fleeing! I can't always get them to a safe spot, and if they choose to fight with me they'll most likely die. Just lost my second horse due to this.

I value your bravery my noble steed, but run away so I don't have to pay another 1000 gold to replace you!


Has this happened to anyone else?

Just steal one. Lol. Or find one in the wilderness. I still haven't lost my horse to a fight. I actually fought my first dragon and piece of cake though the Riften guards did come out last minute. I did happen to lose him while coming down a mountain though which I promptly reloaded to an earlier save. What a cheap way to lose a horse lol.

The dying horse syndrome.....people are lying if they say they never had their first horse die.
