RE: Texture Scaling on 360

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 3:05 pm

It has be verified that the texture problem doesn't occur when playing from disc, but this is false as I am playing from the disc and I have texture problems.
Low res textures everywhere. I can have my weapon and hands looking high res, I can go into the menus and suddenly they're low res again.
I'm just going to install to HDD as I know this wont solve the problem but at least I will have better loading times and a quieter 360.
Not going to use a USB stick as this will increase the chance of killing the stick with all the read/writes.
I'm just going to imagine I'm playing Morrowind at 640x480 :D

I have a launch Premium 360, it has been repaired twice so I probably have a new motherboard. I'm also using a 250GB HDD, connecting via VGA.

I've deleted it and got back to disc, it's back to the way it was, just random low res everywhere.
On the HDD it was frakin terrible, low res practically everywhere. Even in the loading screen which I have never seen playing from disc.
