Decrease volume of NPC dialogue as you walk further from the

Hopefully this is an easy fix...

I don't like how I can still hear NPC's blathering on about things when I have walked very far from them. It's even worse when you walk by multiple townsfolk and you have a few going at once and youre already 50 feet away. The game doesnt ever fully mute them no matter how far away you go. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in tweaking that range?

Actually I'd like to up the volume when you're close to them, but I get what you mean.

I have no issue with this... It fades them away quickly and at about 30-40 ft they are but mere backround noise, and I can easily hear others closer to me over them. However to fully mute them, yes it does take like a good 70 ft, but thats realistic... and like I said at about 30ft they are no longer an issue.

Well, the annoying thing about this is that it's not more immersive at all, because realistically, people wouldn't just start talking to you as you're walking past them, and continue talking into the air as if they're still talking to you when you're clearly not interested. They would talk to you if you're just standing there, or if you walk up to them and say "Hey, what's up?"

I agree on the GetPCNearby==1 thing (made that up, but you get my drift). Would be cool to walk up to some NPCs, the closer you get you can hear they are already in mid-conversation and you didn't get to hear it all.

I hope the NPC's have flags set int heir dialogues for lines that are just for atmosphere and those that are actually important.
