At the climix of the Dark Brotherhood, you move operations over to the Dawnstar Sanctuary. But for me, the Dawnstar Sanctuary doesn't feel right, even after the upgrades - it's certainly not as "homely" as the original sanctuary was. There's just something about it that doesn't feel the same, almost as if it's missing something. I'd love for the primary sanctuary to be restored to its former glory; banners and all.

When the CS arrives, I'll have a crack at this myself, naturally, but I'd love to know if any more experienced modders feel the same way/have had similar thoughts. I don't think that there should be much difficulty with doing it, and that it would basically entail duplicating the original sanctuary - minus the NPCs, and transferring the Dawnstar NPCs over to it. Obviously there's more to it that that, but I imagine that would be the first step.
