I can see my cat just not giving a [censored] whenever I want to play with her though.

Not that I have an iPad, or want more useless phone apps...

I've owned cats all my life and I still wouldn't use something like this. They can be happy with the laser pointer, leather shoelaces, catnip and other such things. The pet industry market has become so redonkulous. heh

That's how I imagine 90% of cats would react to this. They'd just stand there wondering why the hell you'd shoving your iPad in their faces and not caring about the moving thing on the screen. Plus, most cats wouldn't play with it if a human was playing with it at the same time.

Stick with laser pointers. Both you and the cat will have much more fun.

I've come to learn how pointless it is to buy toys for cats. They're more likely to play with a ribbon or pipe cleaner than anything else.

This takes pointless to a whole new level.

The trick is to buy a toy with catnip inside it ;)

This is about the only thing one of my cats would "watch" on tv. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r395r7V7hjo She would sit totally fascinated and you could tell she was following the critters. Most of the time though, all of mine just ignore the tv and computer. Only a few "cat sounds" things will catch their attention. Let me try to move something string-like though, and the claws of instant destruction appear. Ditto any feather or mouse type toys....
