I just arrIved in Whiterun. I went and spoke to Jarl first and then decided to go enlist with The Companions. I walk in and immediately I'm approached by Vilkas. I speak with him and then exit the dialogue menu.

Now Vilkas and his brother are following me everywhere, trying to speak with me. I'll close the dialogue menu and they'll confront me and open it right back up. I'll walk away from them and they'll do the same. I run and they run after me to speak with me!! Anyone else experience this yet??

I literally can't attempt to engage in conversations with other characters cause they interrupt every few seconds after i close their menu. Sometimes They'll begin walking away and then turn and run right back towards me! They follow me all around town.

It's preventing me from fighting Vilkas or doing anything in The Companions Guild.

Edit: The title is suppose to say "Trying to join The Companions - glitched?" (iPhones ) Could someone edit the title?

Hmm. Have you gone into the Quest menu and made sure you have a quest related to them activated?
