DVD drive not working... : V

So I get home with my shiny new copy of ~~Oblivion 2~~ Skyrim, and now my DVD player won't read it. It will read a CD just fine, but not the DVD. I have an Inspiron 530 with a PBDS DVD+-RW DH-16W1S.

Help, please?

That's not a big problem if you have enough internets. There should be a code in your box that you can activate on Steam and then make it download the game.

A few people with this problem not being able to read the DVD.
When you put the DVD in the drive, hold down SHIFT for awhile so it doesn't autorun.
Give it a bit for the DVD to settle and the lights to stop going mad, go into My Computer, right click on your DVD drive and hit open.
Try and run the installer manually from there.
