Where can I find the game's audio files?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 4:38 pm

I have several mods that I plan on working on once the creation kit is released, but I want to know whether or not they are feasible, and to do that I need to see the audio files of the game.

Is there anyway I can find/access them? If so how?

They are inside the Skyrim - Sounds.bsa file. You'll need a BSA extractor like Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM).

They also use a strange format that I heard are super compressed .wma files. I'm looking into utilizing the audio myself. :)

Thank you! I've been looking through the voice files and I think I may have found exactly what I'm looking for

The only problem is that they are all .fuz files, which I have no idea how to open or use, so I can't actually listen to them.
