Hopefully... we'll see more interesting RvR mechanics come out of this. New/original is kind of subjective, most new ideas are just mashups of old ideas. What I am hoping is that if the PvP, Faction vs Faction system is really good, that this will encourage other MMO developers to trying out new and innovative systems as well.
