Dragon Elemental Attacks

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 8:06 pm

There was a question the other day regarding magicka absorption and resistance. Do you guys think that it will apply to the dragon attacks? Even though they consist of fire, ice, etc. they could be considered a "special" sort of elemental type that breaks resistances. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

If they are labeled as "special" then I think they would be more like 'ignore x% of y% resistance to z element'

why would they waste their time being specific? They aren't required to be and a lot of times they aren't specific. For example, if you have 75% resist disease it doesn't necessarily mean you have a 75% chance to not catch it. It COULD mean you have a 75% BETTER chance at resisting it but if those are based off hard numbers or ratios then it could mean anything. for example 10% of 100 is different than 10% of 1000.

I was just thinking of it being something similar to the mace/hammer special perks but with elemental resists instead of armor.
