Can't even get a solid 60 FPS on high >_>

System:

i7 2600k @ 4.8GHz
Crossfire 6950s (Unlocked to 6970s)
16 GB Corsair Dominator 1600mhz RAM
Skyrim on Kingston HyperX SSD

Crossfire is bugged. Try with just one gpu.

Also people have said to use the old drivers, not the new one but the one before it. Not sure number cause I use nvidia.

Try disabling AA (or putting it on 2x) and enabling FXAA. Helped me a bunch.

It's probably a crossfire issue.

My rig is very inferior to yours:

Quad Core 2.4 GHz
3 GB Ram
GTX 460 1 MB

I'm running everything on ultra (only shadows on high) and the FPS never drops below 30 stayin between 40 and 60 for 99% of the time.

It looks like there is no ATI crossfire support yet: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/skyrim-performance-benchmark,3074.html

Weird, I don't think I saw a Direct X 9 logo when the game launched... what would that indicate?

That was a reply to guru3d thread, you see it if you use Radeon Pro, read "use the "dll" file to force the profile, i've just tested it and it works, same FPS boost.

Place the "atiumdag.dll" inside the zip, into your Skyrim folder, the game will load that file on launch."
