After rescuing throald I fast travelled straight to whiterun. From there they proceeded to get stuck at the entrance of whiterun. For 12 in game days they waited there till just now when I spoke to them, they turned hostile and attacked me.

I've got a quest that's bugged right now that I cannot complete, fortunately it's a side quest but it's still frustrating. If I put 75 hours into this game and a main quest is bugged I'm going to be extremely hot.
