- items, recipes, enchants that improve crafting skills no longer exist in the game (existing replaced with generic effect)
Enchanting
- it is now possible to disenchant already known effects but for only 25% or normal experience (additional 4 items for the same level up)
- petty soul gems stop advancing the skill at 30, lesser at 50, common 70 and greater at 90
Smithing
- advanced armors changed places with elven making it more accessible for players who specialize in heavy armor
- ebony requirement down to 70 from 80
- arcane requirement down to 50 from 60
- Imperial armorers have found a way to keep their armor light even when using steel (stats have been balanced though)
- items now stop leveling smithing 5 points into the next tier: iron & leather at 25, steel & jewelry at 35, advanced & dwarf at 55, orc & elven at 75, glass & ebony at 95
- to repair an enchanted item you need both arcane and responding armor type perk
- upgrading enchanted items stop advancing the skill additional 10 points higher: iron & leather at 35, steel at 45, advanced & dwarf at 65, orc & elven at 85
Racials:
- orc Beserker rage attack boost has been reduced in half
- orc new passive resist shock 50%
- Imperial's Luck now improves leveling of Speech by 10%
- Night Eye is now a toggle
Standing stones:
- Atronach now reduces regeneration by 75% (old 50)
- Lover now improves skills by 10% (old 15)
- stones that give a power now also have a passive effect
- Shadow small muffle effect
- Tower easier lock picking
- Serpent 50% resistance to poison
- Ritual conjuration 20% cheaper spells
Perks:
* Lockpicking:
- perks that reduce the difficulty now also have a small effect on higher locks and have been renamed (ex. Novice Lockpicker "much easier Novice locks and a bit easier other locks")
* Light armor:
- perks now include no armor at all but not robes
* Sneak:
- Sneak now also makes you move faster while sneaking at walking speed
* Speech:
- Haggling renamed "Charmer" now also improves your chances of Persuasion and Intimidation
- Persuasion requirement down to 30 now gives you the option to talk down enemies instead of fight them (based on speech and level difference)
- Intimidation requirement down to 50 now gives you the option to scare away enemies instead of fight them (based on speech and level difference)
Spells:
* Illusion:
- casting the calm line of spells on a person out of combat no longer advances the skill
- casting the courage line of spells on a person out of combat no longer advances the skill
* Alteration:
- we feel Alteration is suffering from lack of spells in lower ranks
- new spell: Burden now slows down the opponent available at Novice with additional ranks at Apprentice & Journeyman
* Restoration:
- ward spells are no longer a constant drain but cost magicka when hit
- ward absorb perk is replaced with ward reflect giving wards a small chance to reflect the spell back
