Max Pony 3 : Othor Games

I was a huge fan of Max Payne and Max Payne 2. It was one of the first 3rd person shooters I ever played. I like the noir comic cutscenes too. I remember when Max Payne 3 was announced and it was supposed to be released in late 2009. The release date has been pushed back many times. I don't mind because this tells me that Rockstar really does care about the series.

Who else is a fan of Max Payne? I can't wait for its release.

I loooooove Max Payne and I really liked Max Payne 2. I was one of those ppl that didn't like the new look of Max in the second one. He looked old.

I cannot wait for this game....My most anticipated game of the year so far. More than ME3.

I'm just happy they decided to work on MP3 more rather than release it earlier. It wouldn't have been as good is my guess.

I love the first 2 games so much, and I really want to love Max Payne 3, but so far it looks and acts nothing like a Max Payne game outside of the bullet time.

I'm sure it will be a great game, but I don't see it being a good Max Payne game, I just don't think Rockstar can match the quality of Sam Lake's dialogue.

I did consider buying but I've decided to get Borderlands 2, GTA V and Bioshock Infinite instead this year.

I am a little cautious of this one. The first two were made by Remedy, one of my favorite developers . . . ever.

I have a lot of faith in Rockstar, but I don't know if they are capable of delivering the atmosphere that was seen in the first two. It's sort of Remedy's signature, really. Still, I doubt it will be anything close to a bad game. Just worried that it won't quite feel like a Max Payne game.

I loved the first two. But....something definitely feels off with 3. I'm not sure if it's that he's gotten older or the fact that it takes place in a third world country. From the videos I've watched it seems to have lost the noir feeling and go to an "action" oriented story? I don't know, I feel like something is missing. I'm going to have to wait on this one methinks.

I loved the first two games. I still enjoy playing them.

Though there have been a few videos out of the new one, I haven't looked at them yet. I'm almost afraid they've made it too different, so I don't want to know too much until it's out and I can see what others have to say.

A programmer on my street said he was working on Max Payne 3. He works for Rockstar Toronto (which ironically isn't in Toronto)

I've never even seen a game with the Rockstar Toronto logo/color on it, though..so I dunno if you should be worried or not.

This and GTA V are probably going to be the only games I buy at full price this year.

I've actually never played any Max Payne games before but looking forward to this game, I love everything Rockstar puts out.

Max Payne 3 isn't even a Max Payne game... It's like let's take some guy that looks nothing like Max Payne, name him Max Payne and put a 3 on the end. Not going to play Max Payne 3, it looks terrible, at least if you want it to be a Max Payne game...

Max Payne 3 isn't even a Max Payne game... It's like let's take some guy that looks nothing like Max Payne, name him Max Payne and put a 3 on the end. Not going to play Max Payne 3, it looks terrible, at least if you want it to be a Max Payne game...

I have to agree, just from trailers and behind the scenes stuff I can tell the writing is not up to par with the last 2 games.
