Right, but "like an MMO" is different from an actual MMO.
Diablo III will not have single servers supporting populations of thousands of players at a time (usually all camping out in a few areas). Don't get me wrong, I pre-ordered, and the installer is eagerly awaiting 5/15, but the infrastructure required for Diablo is nothing compared to what's required for an MMO.
I understand your point, I just felt it was important to bring it out there the idea that MMO don't need to be classic anymore. Games like Tera, Firefall and Guild Wars 2 look different from what we got used to see and they play solid.
In order to talk about The Elder Scrolls: Online we also need to look at all the games out there that have interesting ideas or ideas that are bordering MMOs in order to try and predict what we're going to see in the future.
