FFirst Dragon Encounter : V

So, I was thinking, it's confirmed that you dragons don't appear in the world until you reach a certain point in the MQ, how will the first dragon encounter be? Will it be a scripted encounter as part of that quest, or will it occur randomly after that quest?

There's a typo in the title. I can't type with an iPod at 1:45 am. Please disregard it.

I believe it will be somewhat scripted for your first encounter. Not the fight, just the entrance

There's a very easy answer to this question, but it's a spoiler.

Suffice to say, the "Point" in the "MQ" that you must reach is... earlier in the game than you might think.

I don't think that really counts as a dragon appearing in the world...the part you're talking about looks like its all scripted in a closed environment

I think i read that you'll probably have people who are fighting along with you, well certainly at the start.

You go to a place and talk to a dude. The dude tells you to go to another place with some dudes and a chick. When you get to the place you start having a wtf moment and a dragon attacks you. You kill it and get all happy and what not. Non-specifics are fun.

I have seen the start of the game. You get in a chariot with a few other prisoners. You travel down a mountain and you get dropped of in a village. (Don't know where). When you are resting your head on the execution table, a dragon comes in and destroys everyone. You retreat in a fortress and find a cave.

So I don't know if you eventually fight the dragon.

how about your first dragon encounter while exploring there we go now the thread makes sense!!!!

i will be probably travelling through a forest, just finished a dungeon, tired and looking for a inn for the night. as it gets near dusk fog sets in and i see something swooping through the air but quickly disappears before i can see. i ignore it and carry on. 2 mins later i see a town in the distance as I close in on the town the dragon swoops down and burns the village killing two guards at the same time. i turn and run only to realize its set its attention on me. i drop all my gear to run faster it lands infront of me and there's a awkward moment between the dragon and I. it then proceeds to eat me, the end!!!
