It's not that the imperials are bad its that their being influenced by thalmor. I play as an Imperial but i join the stormcloaks because their leader isn't poisoned by those little elves. Although i hope to one day free Cyrodiil from their puppet Empire.

I'm joining the Empire with no intention to be evil. The above-stated ritual seems disturbing though. How I react to that would depend on what the ritual is, exactly. Sounding like necromancy to me, but why would they want to revive naked soldiers? If they want their soldiers back I'd say they would want them to be in armour. Unless they don't want them to be recognised as Imperial Undead Soldiers, or they are Imposters.


The Empire isn't "poisoned" by the Thalmor. It's nothing like Saruman and Theoden, and I seriously doubt that the Empire likes doing what the Thalmor wants either. It's less of being a puppet and more of fulfilling your part of a peace treaty. The Treaty of Versailles didn't make Germany a puppet of France, but they had to weaken themselves considerably to fulfill their part of the treaty. (Though admittedly, they didn't follow the treaty completely, leading towards World War 2)

That is incorrect. The dead naked people in weird prositions are imperial soldiers. The 3 live fully armored ones are just call soldiers. My take is that they are just bandits who looted the dead imperial soldiers. Killing the "soldiers" does not increase any bounty.
