Hey all,

This bug happened after I was leaving the cave (forget the name) to do the third quest in the Companions line (the cave with the 2 vampires). My game froze while loading and now if I try and load any saves my game shows the loading screen (random item/creature picture spinning) and it freezes up 5 seconds into it (same thing when I try and start a new game).

I cleared my cache; didn't fix it.
I deleted the last two auto saves that dealt with where the bug happened; didn't fix it.

This is on a 4GB new xbox (forget the specific name, it is the new xbox where they don't get red ring). Game is not installed on HDD.

Only info I could find on this bug was that two people on the Gamefaqs forum have experienced it.

This is game breaking in the most literal sense of the term.

Any help or thoughts?

Seems like the easy option is wait for a patch to fix it? But that's time consuming.

Depending on how far in you were? You may have to clear your cache, and wipe all save data clean off your HDD - and yep... Start again from the beginning. That's all I can think of for such a game breaker, this far into the the release.

I'm over 11 hours in. I'd rather not start a new game. This is pretty ridiculous. (implying I could start a new game if I wanted to....)

I already told you....I wiped my cache and the game is not on my HDD (except a few saves which should not be corrupted because they are hours old).
