I still dont understand. Is CCC the problem or the drivers? Or a combo of both?

Reverting to 11.9 fixed a lot of problems for me. It's working for some people, not others. There's a new CAP coming out though, so keep an eye out for that.

try simply using the "default" button in your drivers first. then change settings in Skyrim. its worked for a couple of people.
AMD are prone to release drivers with pre-tweaked settings which an cause the issues.

hmm. I guess I will wait for the profiles to be out from AMD. Im to lazy to driver sweep and install 11.9.

Back to BF3 for me than.

The problem is that Bethesda didn't think to let the game make use of more than two cores.

You mean default on the Game applications page of CCC or something else?
