Let's hope ID gets these problems sorted out soon, as the engine itself is amazing (when it works right).

Someone asked if "soon" means "today". I definitely want to see the answer to that.

Man i am just [censored]in happy that a new update is coming soon , I just hope it fixes the AI [censored] , as everything else can be fixed by using workarounds ( Configs and launch parameters ) Except Catalyst AI :(

Maybe they are waiting for Steam to upload patch. Does Valve work on weekends?

It's only been a few days. I'm still waiting for Eidos and Nixxes to relase a working patch for Deus Ex. And that game came out in....August?

Except nothing is wrong with Deus Ex?? I have had 0 problems with that game , But even if i was lucky and you faced problems , I very highly doubt it was making the game unplayable and i also doubt that more than 60% of players are having it ( I never heard about any huge problems anywhere actually lol)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution works just fine for me too. Worked fine since launch. I ran into one small bug during gameplay, but it was resolved (quickly enough that I honestly can't remember what the bug was). I know some folks had problems but they're few and far between. Nothing near the scale of problems faced by RAGE players.

Because people wouldn't know where to look on the forums and they would still complain. At least this way we can follow them on Twitter and get an update instantly once they post. Unfortunately, posting on forums is old hat and Twitter is the place to be, like it our not.

Well i just put this on my RAGE desktop shortcut: +vt_maxPPF 8 +vt_pageImageSizeUnique 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 8192
Just right click on shortcut on the desktop, click properties and in target section copy and paste that. It must look like this......"G:\Bethesda Softworks\Rage\Rage.exe" +vt_maxPPF 8 +vt_pageImageSizeUnique 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 8192.
Make sure it looks just like that ( well it depends on where you installed the game obviously). With all the spaces and all. If you have quad core CPU then you might try using +vt_maxPPF 16 instead of 8. Also if you have less than 768mb of video ram. Dont try this. If your game crashes. Do this:

change the paging file management on Windows Vista and Windows 7, first press the "Start" button, then right-click on "Computer" and then select "Properties" from the popup menu. Then select "Advanced system settings" on the window that appears. Select the "Advanced" tab on the "System Properties" window that is displayed and press the "Settings" button under "Performance". Select the "Advanced" tab on the "Performance Options" window that shows up next and press the "Change..." button under "Virtual memory". Now uncheck the option "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and make sure that the option "System managed size" is selected on the "Virtual Memory" window.
Confirm the change by pressing the "OK" button on each window. After making this change you will have to restart your computer for the change to take effect.

Smooth 60FPS, no texture pop ins, no crashes ,gltches, just great gameplay with higher texture details now.

System:
Athlon II 270
4Gb DDR2 800
GTX 460 768mb

Oh and GPU transcoding ENABLED in the game. If you have AMD card......tough luck. And one more thing. I made a new partition on my hdd just for RAGE. Nothing else in it.
