mind inputting what you did to fix your RAGE? im sure your busy playing the sh*t out of it

Well i just put this on my RAGE desktop shortcut: +vt_maxPPF 8 +vt_pageImageSizeUnique 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 8192
Just right click on shortcut on the desktop, click properties and in target section copy and paste that. It must look like this......"G:\Bethesda Softworks\Rage\Rage.exe" +vt_maxPPF 8 +vt_pageImageSizeUnique 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly 8192 +vt_pageImageSizeUniqueDiffuseOnly2 8192.
Make sure it looks just like that ( well it depends on where you installed the game obviously). With all the spaces and all. If you have quad core CPU then you might try using +vt_maxPPF 16 instead of 8. Also if you have less than 768mb of video ram. Dont try this. If your game crashes. Do this:
change the paging file management on Windows Vista and Windows 7, first press the "Start" button, then right-click on "Computer" and then select "Properties" from the popup menu. Then select "Advanced system settings" on the window that appears. Select the "Advanced" tab on the "System Properties" window that is displayed and press the "Settings" button under "Performance". Select the "Advanced" tab on the "Performance Options" window that shows up next and press the "Change..." button under "Virtual memory". Now uncheck the option "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" and make sure that the option "System managed size" is selected on the "Virtual Memory" window.
Confirm the change by pressing the "OK" button on each window. After making this change you will have to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
Smooth 60FPS, no texture pop ins, no crashes ,gltches, just great gameplay with higher texture details now.
System:
Athlon II 270
4Gb DDR2 800
GTX 460 768mb
Oh and GPU transcoding ENABLED in the game. If you have AMD card......tough luck. And one more thing. I made a new partition on my hdd just for RAGE. Nothing else in it.
