Skyrim's magic

Hey good people,

So, this might just be due to my horrible sense of direction, but I just spent 4 hours trying to get to a village I picked on the map. It wasnt terribly far, but I just had the hardest time finding a route through the mountains, while also constantly finding other points of interest. I spent a little while observing a dragon from like 5 miles away, that just flew around in the distance.

Finally I found a road, saw the name of my village in a roadsign (a useful roadsign in a game?!) again after losing my direction 4 hours back and then made it to this beautiful, mist covered little town at the foot of a mountain. I then dismounted my horse, entered the inn, picked up my phone during the loading screen and realized it was past midnight IRL...

Now stuff like this have just never happened to me in a game. Losing track of time surely has, but having to make effort to actually find my way to a location that I already see on the map is another thing completely, and add to that the fact that the whole time spent travelling never made me think of it as a chore and you have a game, that at least for me, is truly unique.

That is all, happy gaming people! :)
