My game is effed up! Conundrum!

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 1:06 pm

So I'm 20 hrs in and last night I starting noticing serious performance issues: lag, freezes, horrible input lag.

I'm dual wielding and for some reason every time I equip my weapon in my right hand it won't swing until I swing with the left hand. WTF.

Now whenever I go to whiterun it's a hallucination of stuttery proporations. If I run through the city I might as well close my eyes for fear of my brain melting. WTF.

Wth the performance seriously degrading with increased play I don't want to invest any more time into my character. It would just be a waste.

Seems like it has something to do with lag problem every other ps3 user is experiencing. This is widespread, and my feeling is people that havnt encoutered it yet eithe havnt made it as far or are in possesion of as many items. That might also be a problem as I keep alot of items for my companions and my whiterun home. Why even give us the option to hoard items if it breaks the game?

Is Bethesda going to compensate ps3 users for this BS? Probably not.
Do they deserve all these accolades for putting a buggy game out on shelves? Probably not.

Now here is my conundrum:
I hate the fact that this company put an unfinished product out but the actual game is so dn good I can't help but want to keep playing. Against my own will I'm considering getting the 360 version and starting over even though the last thing I want to do is give more money to this horrible game company but I can't help myself. Thoughts? Is the 360 version more stable? Will I actually be able to finish the game? Will I actually be able to put items in the house I bought and books on te bookshelves?

Bethesda needs to go check out a developer like naughty dog who can put out cutting edge products that are focused and stable. It's OK to ct some crap out if it means the Game will actually work! WTF.

Exactly what I'm feeling. But will trade my copy for the 360 version tomorrow. Luckily my brother have an XBox I can borrow, as I sold mine when I got my PS3.

yes you will get the XBOX360 skyrim and then you will see other bugs....then you go for the PC version...see something else that you not wanted to see...

and then what....you will change to play a different game....nice solution !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it seems like this was some type of backhanded marketing ploy to trick multiple console owners to who bought the first copy on ps3 to eventually get the 360 copy. It's diabolical! I hate that te actual game is so good.

No bugs can possibly be as bad as having the game turn completely unplayable after a while. I can live with random bugs for the 360 version. I can NOT live with this.

Yeah it's becomes completely unplayable. In any other industry Bethesda would be forced to recall this pile of trash. Seriously I hate final fantasy 13 and it's aesthetic, automatic gameplay, lack of immersion, an grotesque linearity but it's better than skyrim cuz you can actually finish the game. How is playability not the number one goal at Bethesda. For Christ sake your making games that are played.

The problems reported on the other consoles are nowhere near as severe. It's like buying 1 house that doesn't have a roof but then saying you'll be equally as pissed off if you buy a different house that has the wrong shade of blue in its carpets. No. You might want the second house to be better, but it doesn't make it as bad as the first.

I like that anology, but I would liken it more to one house having a foundation infested with termites that will eventually lead to the foundation and, subsequently, the house crashing down upon itself and failing to function after a few days in comparison to a house with the wrong shade of blue on its carpets.
