I sent a support email to Beth about lag issues on the ps3 and this is what they've said.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing lagging issues with your PS3. This is an issue that Bethesda are aware of, and are always trying to combat.

At the moment, could you try clearing you cashe?

You can do this by going to the PS3 dashboard > Games > Game Data Utility > and deleting any cashe to do with Skyrim.

This often clears up space and helps deal with the lagging issue.

Other than that, the coming update should also help resolve these matters.

We apologise for any inconvenience, and we hope you can enjoy the game, as intended.

So at least we know for definate they're aware of the problem and are working to resolve it!

This relieves me so much I have faith in Bethesda, I am of course still angry at them for making another very awesome game, but releasing it...."Buggy as [censored]." But I think I won't have any good feelings with Beth until this "Game fixing patch" is released, til then "dah [censored], Beth?"

Watch, they are just going to be like "trololololo" when the patch comes and doesn't fix the issues on the PS3.

I guess, but that's only to be expected. Question is, what will everyone do if the patch doesn't fix the lag? Other than be [censored] furious there isn't much we can do :(

I want to play this game as intended so much, I'm considering saving for a 360 but in a way I don't want to give the [censored]s any more of money if they don't have the courtesy to respect me as a consumer who paid full price for the game!
