I'd like to see a bedroll or tent mod, where you can bring it with you and set up camp anywhere in the wilderness if you find yourself traveling at night on a long journey. Along with that, I think a campfire-building mod, along with the ability to cook over any fire (or bring a portable cooking pot) would be awesome too. I'd like to have a ranger/woodsman type character, and I can't see that sort of person always going back to the cities to sleep in a bed.

Being able to make a little campsite would be fantastic for roleplaying, especially when mods come out that let you have more than one companion at a time. Traveling with say, three other companions and setting up camp here and there would be fun :]

The scripts for turning firewood into a working fire currently exist for a mod for Oblivion. All it would take is a port of said script and attaching it to the firewood that is retrieved from chopping wood with an axe. As for the cooking script, I am not sure how that would work but much more difficult scripts have been utilized so its certainly possible.

This would be awesome. I love skyrim and how easily it is to really get immersed into it. I'm not a big RP fan usually but skyrim is one of these games where I can't help myself and this would be awesome!

Definitely a good game for RP! I was just riding my horse north of Windhelm on the way to Winterhold and it was night and the northern lights were out. I was thinking, man a tent and campfire would be perfect right about now!
