2 Controllers PC Games - Anypony?

Can anyone give me some good 2 player pc games please? Not online ones, ones that you can both sit at the pc and play (like LOTR TROTK).

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is kinda fun to play co-op. Blur is pretty fun to play split-screen as well.

Audiosurf, hands down.
My girlfriend and I have spent many hours enjoying Double-Vision together, once we agree on what music to play. :P
It's the best 10 bucks you'll ever spend on a game, and can still enjoy by yourself too.

Computer can easily take advantage of using PS3 and Xbox360 controllers now.....I really hope developers let us split-screen PC games eventaully, we have all the tools, they just never port that feature over.

Quite frankly, for most games its a complete pain to even get Lan working properly......why cant we get some spiltscreen option.

The entire Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Up to game 4, 5 and onwards belong in the trash, not in someones PC. But yes, Heroes of Might and Magic 1 - 4 = great for playing together.

Any of the Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat games. Many of them have been ported to PC, including SF4.

Serious Sam:1st and 2nd encounter (not the HD versions) have split screen although setting that up to work with a gamepad can be a serious pain (I only got it to work using the d-pad instead of the left stick and the triggers don't work) serious sam 2 does not have split screen (despite the steam page stating that it has local coop, which seems to mean lan-play).

Trine (EDIT: almost forgot Magicka, although that is really hard to play with a controller) and Rayman origins (not out yet) have single screen coop. Dungeon defenders has split-screen.

That's as far as I've personally tried, apart from that I know that Blur and Street Fighter have options to play against one another on a single pc, as well as Serious Sam 3. I've tried to set up a splitscreen left 4 dead game, but I only have one controller which seems to make it impossible to set that controller to player 2.

(I've left out the games which are turn based as there is no need for two controllers)

I thought 5 was pretty good. 4 is an oddball. I haven't played 6 but from what I've heard it's pretty bad.

I would also like to mention that the Stronghold series is pretty good. Like Heroes of might and magic 6 I haven't played stronghold 3.

Thank you for the replies. This is a good list of games, but most of them aren't really what I'm looking for. LOTR: The Return of the King is one of the best games i've played so far that has co-op campaign. Worms Reloaded and Blur also are very good games.

Indeed. Left 4 Dead for an example, is just a pain in the ass to get splitscreen working...
