is there an High res texture pack and other improvements coming from ID?

I can't belive that this is the game.
Is there some comment on ID on a patch that will fix the horrible texture and the lacks of a good illumination/shadows?

How hard is it to search this website for your question? They have already stated that they are working on a patch for higher res textures and more video options for ingame. Just wait for them to post it and stop making post for the same question over and over again.

in any case there are many problem in this game and not only textures.
Illumination and shadow are crappy, most object lacks shadows,
shaders are crappy,
particles are insufficient,
no depth of field,
low poly models in the tessellation era.

I'm really disappointed.
