So, after fixing the 'crashes at start' problem and the sound issue. I've noticed that when i press escape to bring up the quest/settings menu while being indoor, the background is completely yellow (the Debugmoe type yellow, you know what i mean) also when facing a fire while being indoor and bringing up the menu, the fire is debugmode pink.

Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem and found it's tied to the Shadow setting somehow. Are your shadows on Ultra? I had to set mine down to High for some reason and that fixed the problem you're talking about. Hope that helps for you.
