This happened several times before i reinstalled the game. It also continued after reinstalling the first time. After reinstalling the second time it worked but holy crap this is some buggy [censored]. might have to return this i think.

I installed skyrim on PS3 and after installation finished i hit start game, saw a loading screen for 10 seconds and then saw a man (who i now recognise as the generic Nord) die, then show the Bethesda logo and take me back to the option screen.
