Gaining our trust

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 4:20 pm

What does bethesda have to do to have back our trust ? lets say they manage to fix all the problems (most of them) and make us happy again , they should make free plug in's in the future just to repair what they did.
I all ready turned in my game to gamespot by the way.

Give me back my money, i doubt Amazon would give me a refund.

If they somehow patched the game in a week's time and made it run as well as the 360 version minus textures issues AND gave us an apology i would forgive them. But i don't think they will ever fix the lag bug, or even plan to.

Let's see... I'd love to see a well-done fix in a timely manner, a sincere public apology, and them advertising learning from their mistake and actually proving it with a proper release of Fallout 4 and/or TES VI on the next-generation PlayStation console as actual proof of their commitment. It probably won't happen, though.

To be honest I don't care what they do, as long as they fix it. If they don't fix it however................

You're going to be honest? You say that like you're in a minority group around here. :P Of course we all enjoy the game, enjoyed the game, or want to enjoy it past the problems. Having played the entire series, I love the game, personally, past the huge fact that it's not doing the one thing it's supposed to all too well... which is actually playing.

Just fix it and I'll be happy - I'm not some self entitled person who thinks he deserves free stuff for a [censored] up - sure it's bad but we don't deserve free stuff for it. We deserve for it to be fixed and thus returning the product to the original, expected state; then things are an even plane - no need for extra freebies. The only way I'd like something given to me is if they cannot fix the problem, the i'd like given is a refund.

Mad... oh yes I'm mad. Such a disappointment, after all my experience and love for the series, to have my platform deemed seemingly unimportant by Bethesda...

Ok I get you , since you are more experienced with the company being honest do you think that they will be able to fix the game ? or what do you think this new patch or update will actually do ? does bethesda is known for doing this ? selling broken games or maybe they did not knew that the game would backfire as much as it did ?

They are known for the exact opposite, releasing broken and inferior games on the PS3 and never fixing them.

Oh, looks like damage control team has arrived

"Constructive, useful critique or information? Not here. "

I agree, maybe the devs or customer support could come here and post some :poke:

Id be happy if they just acknowledged that the PS3 version is inferior, and still has many issues that need to be resolved, and they wont stop until they are.

Given their history of RELEASE and HIDE, i think we all feel (or at least some do) that they wont fix it, and they will ignore us PS3 users like they have before. Not a nice way to be treated. I feel ive been lied to and deceived prior to the release. A new game engine which was supposed to of made it a much more stable and less glitchy game?. BS!!!!

Yeah ok, no one forced me to buy the game. But given the info i had before the game came out, it was supposed to of been the next best thing since sliced bread. Joke was on me for believing them i guess. I know i wont purchase ANY Bethesda game again until AFTER its released, and i WONT be reading any reviews of the game before as well, because they are all BS. Why didnt they release a PS3 demo?? I think i/we know why they chose not to dont you?

Im sure its all down to $$$'s in the end to them, and they dont care who they tread on to get it. Sad thing is though, is that its those who got trod on who has kept them in buisness all these years.

Never again Bethesda.

What trust?

I am still waiting for them to fix Fallout 3 which has the exact same problem. Oh and New Vegas too... I can't believe I bought this game.

It's people like me that make Bethesda sit back and just count the money. They aren't going to fix it. If they were, it would have been fixed before release... they have had almost 10 years to think about it now.

I've no experience with Bethesda being honest. I haven't been playing the series since its inception, but I have just played all the games in the core series. :tes: What I can tell you is that they've never shown any enthusiasm for the PS3 and that's that, but Bethesda generally have a history of problematic technical issues regardless of platform... just never this buggy on anything but a PlayStation since Daggerfall.

So wait, if you guys have had Bethesda do this to you in the past releases on the PS3, why would you even buy this game right away? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me and whatnot.

Personally, I had Morrowind on Xbox (then PC), and Oblivion on 360 (then PC). I got a PS3 a few months ago, and thought this game might look better on the ps3, what with all the ranting and raving about ps3's superior graphics I hear about.

Should've just got it for my 360...

And as a pre-emptive against all the "I only have a ps3, and can't afford another console", I still wouldn't have gotten it right away if I knew bethesda's previous games were nearly unplayable all the way through on that console.

.. or giving a hint that they are working on a fix.
