But does that mean we can't talk about the same issues some politicians are talking about? I'd love to see a discussion about healthcare, especially since there are so many users on these boards that live in countries that have universal care.

In many places, healthcare isn't a big political issue. In the US, it is. Does that mean it's off limits?

If not, I'd love to know what everyone thinks would be an ideal health care system. Pull examples from the system that you currently live with now, as well as any thoughts on what other countries are doing, or even your own ideas on how it should be.

If the conversation is off limits, I apologize and hope moderators will close this thread before I have done any damage. As a precaution, I will report this thread myself just in case.
