I pre-ordered RAGE but after seeing all the issues after it came out, I waited until today to try it with the new patch. I can adjust all the options and they stick with what I choose but when I attempt to adjust V-Sync and go back into the menu after saving it, it's always reverted back to Off. With no V-Sync, I get massive screen tearing that quickly results in eye strain for me. I tried forcing V-Sync in my video drivers which also didn't help. I thankfully don't seem to be having any other issues but I need to know how to make the game retain V-Sync. Given how new my video card is, the Smart mode should also be supported but that option isn't sticking either. For reference, here's what I'm running:

Core i7 2600K (Not overclocked right now)
Gigabyte GTX570 1280MB Super Overclock (Not overclocked beyond factory)
8GB DDR3
Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1
Latest NVIDIA beta drivers (285.38)

I should also point out that I have no screen tearing problems in any other games currently, and I usually leave the option disabled. I am able to set everything else to the highest settings and aside from the screen tearing, the game seems to be running great and at a solid 60fps. Does anyone have a potential solution for making V-Sync adhere to the Smart setting? Until this is resolved, I can't play the game. Thanks!

Since the new patch V-sync always turns off for me as well. If anyone knows a fix i would appreciate it.
