Another build thead

Hello everyone, I just wanted some opinions on my warrior class with ONE school of magic. I'm trying to decide between alteration, restoration, or destruction. Here goes my class so far-

Heavy Armor
One Handed
Two Handed
Smithing

I'm trying to decide what magic school to go with and if two handed is even worth it. This is my first TES game so I was wondering how fun is two handed? I was going to use it just for the awesome factor but I might put destruction at that spot and then make alteration as my last skill. Any ideas?

Between those 4 skill I have about 11 perks left

Sorry about the double post but my phone doesn't allow me to edit posts. So about the last sentence I mean I have 11 perks left if I end up going with two handed.

I would chose either One-Handed or Two-Handed, but not both. If you're wanting to use magic then it might be better to opt for One-handed, leaving your other hand free for spell use. Destruction would be useful for ranged attacks and Alteration is good for protection, plus it comes with some pretty cool utility effects.

If you have smithing you might as well go for enchanting so you can make your gear even stronger

you should probably only choose one source of offence and replace the other with a form of magic maybe restoration. Also as mentioned by someone else maybe throw in enchanting so that you can take the offence up a notch.

Your build is too narrow and has some serious drawbacks: no range attack, no way to defend from mages, no way to restore your own health. Also, and as others pointed, it has two offensive skills that are substitutes and not complements.

My advise:
Choose between one-handed or two-handed
Add restoration
Keep heavy armor
Replace smithing by enchanting.

Restoration allows you to heal yourself as well as to defend from melee and magic attacks by using wards, circles of protection etc. VERY useful.
Enchanting allows you to create magical weapons and armors. In my opinion, a magical buf is much more useful than a smithing buf. Also, if you use enchanting you can get a staf and solve your lack-of-ranged-attack problems.
