A few bugsglitches I've come across

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:55 am

Hi, first post just hoping I'll get a few responses, possibly a few fixes as well. I apologise if I mention something that has been mentioned before already, I tried searching for them already but there are a few too many threads for me to read all the topics.

First bug I've come across is the camera in third person. At the beginning of the game the camera was just like normal but at some point during the game after you fight the first dragon but before you head out to meet the Greybeards the camera snapped extremly close to the character model. Basically if I play in thrid person with my weapon sheathed the camera is so close to the character model that the character model takes up over half the screen. The camera returns to normal when you take your weapon out though it returns up close once you sheathe your weapon again. Its really annoying as I like to play in third person when I'm travelling about exploring. Because it takes up so much of my screen I'm forced to play in first person.

Second bug I've come across is rather funny, I found a wolf inside a rock. Couldnt hurt it and it couldnt hurt me. Was rather funny and I just ignored it and continued on my exploring after a while. Just thought I would let people know about it.

Thats the only ones I havent seen posted on this site all ready or ones that have fixed themselves after a bit of time or havent been in any way gamebreaking (for example I found an iron dagger floating in the middle of a road). If anyone has found these problems and found fixes for them please let me know asap. Thanks.

The first one isn't a bug. By holding down the right stick and moving the left forward or back you can zoom in and out.

I just came across a glitch that wouldn't let me sprint or jump which stayed even when I quit and re-loaded the game. A charged attack with my sword fixed it though.

For your first one, when you're in third person stand still, click and hold the right stick then move the left stick backwards, it will zoom the camera out. You can alter camera distance for both non-combat (weapon sheafed) and combat (weapon drawn) viewpoints. Just switch between them to change them to your liking.

For the second, when you're out in the wild there's not a lot you can do about this glitch but if you're indoors and go out then in, that should get the enemy unstuck.

Hope I helped.

Thank you so much guys, the camera thing was the one thing that was truly bothering me. As for the wolf in the rock thing I wasnt too bothered about it, it happened to me in Oblivion as well so I knew that if I left the area and came back it should be fixed. Besides it was just a wolf so I didnt really care too much about it. Again, thanks a lot! :)

I had the same problem and know how annoying it could be so thought I'd lend a hand. :)
