Can anybody help? Just need a quick fix. Artefacts are cropping up all over the landscape - ruining things for me.

Find the boolean value bDrawShadows=1 within SkyrimPrefs.ini and change the 1 to 0.All Shadows will be turned off. You will get a boost in frames as well. Ultra shadows kill performance for me and look ugly I agree especially off character faces. They seem to be bugged or are using a a complex shadowing algorithm.

Hopefully the Guy who did MGE XE comes and rewrites the real time shadows in this game.

Thanks kingsims but changing that value doesn't seem to work. Shadows are still being cast. I've amended the other 2 drawshadow options also.
