I have tried evert solution listed previously (compatibility, sound rate, etc.) to no avail.
I can reach the first screen with option, but when I click on start, after a few seconds of the wait mouse cursor..nothing.

I would suggest other people having similar issue to post the same, as this could help Bethesda identify the bug with the pointers from the crash.
