Ponyville Maps 8-bit for NES

Google posted their April Fools' Day prank, which is an http://youtu.be/rznYifPHxDg. It's pretty clear that they're paying homage to the Dragon Quest series (seems like the first game, judging by the music), made even more obvious by the Square Enix copyright. Very cool, and it'd be even cooler if it had actual battles.

I figured this could also serve as a place to dump all of the April Fools' Day pranks folks come across, as I'm sure there'll be plenty of 'em very soon.

The 'blow on the cartridge to fix bugs' part is so great.

The copyright at the bottom even says "? April 1 2012 Mojang".

Hard science fiction.
Lots of engineering.
Fully working computer system.
Space battles against the AI or other players.
A game ending that makes sense.
Abandoned ships full of loot.
Waist high walls.
Seamlessly landing on planets.
Advanced economy system.
Mining, trading, and looting.

Still the 31st in the US...

But I remember a funny April Fools joke in one of the issues for EGM. It was a small preview for a Kingdom Hearts crossover game with Nintendo, having Mario replacing Sora as the main protagonist. Funnier still, people thought that was real because in the same issue was the reveal of Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, which seemed incredulous at the time.

That was the best part of it in my opinion. :D

Cartoon Network/advlt Swim is running Toonami at the moment. Pretty sure that's their April Fools' prank, and it's just mean. :(
