Acrobatics increased jumping height, but no. Acrobatics and athletics have been removed.

Since devs decide to remove such features as athletics, acrobatics, slowfall and levitation thats will be hard to make similar things in Skyrim, perhaps using combo of
Whirlwind Sprint and Eternal shout thats make you become immune to damage for a short period of time can allow you move by certain distance in air.

you just gave me a great idea. I so hope this is in the game it would just make up for the loss of acrobatics and forced jump heights. what if you could cast whirlwind sprint while jumping and instead of going forwards it is actually a movement modifier so you can whirlwind jump, and whirlwind strafe and whirlwind backpedal. now that would be fun.

Not sure about jump height but base speed can be changed with equipment, potions and likely enchantments. Also rumours that the steed standing stone has something to do with movement speed.

From what Iv'e seen whirlwind sprint also seems to work in the air, so it's likely you could use that to your advantage.

Sorry to burst your bubble but you can't do any of that. You just Sprint in the direction you are looking. And even if you look up you still just Sprint along the ground.

Sprint should still work from roof to roof, horizontally. Otherwise, hope for some boots of jumping, or similar.
