so just after fast travelling while getting on to my horse my character vanished and after playing for another 20 minutes or so still has yet to return to being visible in any way shape or form, is there any way to fix this

Have you tried fast-travelling again? That might work considering you had to fast-travel for the glitch to happen.

sadly yes i have tried that any attempt to re-enact what caused the glitch hasnt had any luck with getting it to return to normal

and the worst part of it is that hours into the game later, this problem still hasnt resolved itself, even after turning the system off and back on

Does no one keep a nice list of back saves or what? As soon as it happened why didn't you load fast travel auto save?

wasnt playing at the time, and by the time i saw it there were no auto saves left to backtrack to
