Can we start calling this the skyrim scandal?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 9:52 pm

So as many of you or practically all of u have discovered this game is a crippled mess. It is getting down right ridiculous that Bethesda has not adresses the issue SPECIFICALLY. They even try to group together with minor non game breaking bugs inthe official response circumnavigating the actual issue. They're moderators a shutting down threads that ask u to spread the word of this crippled version. They are censoring our ps3 issues to try to down play this crap product. Now Hines is lying through his teeth saying a minority of ps3 users are experiencig this issue to try to reel in more sales in the face of all those who wasted their money.

Way to spit on ur fans Bethesda soft.

Congratulations Bethesda you have sunk to activision and ea levels.

I dub thee THE SKYRIM SCANDAL

summer, this is not a petition so don't tase me bro

Yeah, it really aggravates me that they aren't giving us any news on what is going to be done. I know everyone at Bethesda knows about this issue by now.

It really is one of the worst cases I've seen of game developers actively ignoring a major issue. Then to go so far as to downplay it and make us all look like we're a small minority is completely ridiculous.

Personally I'd prefer to call it the Skyrim Crisis...

I need to get out more.

all they need to do is leave a msg explaining that they are addressing the save file lag stuff for the ps3 and everyone would stop moaning :) how come they publicly said we are fixing the screen tearing issue with the xbox yet they aint saying anything about our little cant even play the game dilemma :(

Yeah but you know why they aren't explaining to us that they are addressing the issue and getting it fixed? Because they ARE NOT fixing it.

The thing the bugs me the most is I would rather be playing the game then scouring these boards like a sick puppy. Too bad I can't do that cuz i'm far enough in where everything is completely effed. To add insult to injury they're locking threads. Troubleshooting these boards more than their troubleshooting the games.

Skyrim crisis is nice but I like scandal better. Alliteration FTW.

I think "The Skyrim Scandal" is an appropriate way of describing it.

I simply don't trust them anymore because they make games that are potentially great but always grind to a halt. I have had problems with all their releases across at least 4 different gaming platforms and even the patches don't eradicate the major problems. I thought with this supposedly new game engine and past mistakes they would have learned but I guess me giving them money over the years has not helped raise the awareness of their shortcomings. They rushed this one out the door and now we are left to beg for the actual product we paid for in good (misguided) faith. Their attitude will be their undoing eventually - even huge profitable companies fall when they forget about their core customers.

*sigh*

Don't post a topic that was already closed. Sorry you are frustrated, but ranting in such a way is not helpful.

And no one in censoring you - you agreed to abide by the forum rules here when you registered. Maybe you ought to read them.
