The Excalibur mod from OB, well, is lacking. The model is totally off, from the movie at least. It would also be cool to have a related quest where you retrieve the sword from the Lady of the Lake. Possibly only attainable at high level or after performing a certain number of deeds which could be tracked through stats.

the oblivion sword is simply a retexture, the one you showed is from a movie... both not really THE excalibur, heck its a myth/saga not reality
the real sword would have looked alot different anyway as that whole excalibur king arthur thing happened in roman times or shortly thereafter, long before swords like the one in that pic came to existance and most likely was a roman sword as these were like a hundred times more sturdy and sharp than any celtish/pictish sword of the time, hence it prolly was a longer gladius or somin... but well... just saying... lol... if you want that sword in your pic, go for it

I realize that it's from the movie which is exactly why I would like to see it come to life in Skyrim. Excalibur is arguably the best medieval movie ever made, besides the original Conan of course. Correct me if I'm wrong but, last time I checked, a weapon made of glass would shatter in real life, and Daedric, Dwarven, Elven, and Ebony are pure TES fantasy. Since this sword is pure fantasy as well I don't see a problem with it. Given my aforementioned point I don't understand yours....
