My guess on the PvP

This is my brief guess on what we may see in terms of the PvP in ESO, and to alleviate the concerns of many outraged people on this forum who are worried about PvP or simply don't have any understanding of how it works in other MMOs...

Where are you getting "I will die right when I spawn" from? Open world PvP is not free-for-all PvP. Cyrodiil will be where the open world PvP will be taking place. If I had to guess based on previous work by some of these people working at ZeniMax (DAoC, UO), we will see something along the lines of Warhammer or Frontiers in DAoC inside the zone of Cyrodiil. What I mean by that is the whole zone will consist of towns, keeps, checkpoints, towers, supply lines, castles, etc to siege and take over to swing the tide of the war going on between the three factions. The capital city will no doubt be the primary goal of the war raging on. Whoever takes enough objectives can open up the path to taking over the imperial city, and thus become the leader in the battle of Tamriel. By capturing the capital it probably gives bonuses and what not to everyone playing in your faction, whether they are pvping or pveing. I assume there will be bonuses to both sides of gameplay. Now along with this open world warzone of Cyrodiil, I would imagine they will also add instanced battlegrounds for casual and quick pvp rounds. These could come in a variety of flavors. They could be smaller zones with objectives to take/siege, similar to battlegrounds in DAoC. However, they could also be the pathetic attempt at PvP such as we see in WoW and WAR: very small zones with capture the flag or some other silly nonsense. Also, in DAoC there were PvP public dungeons that were extremely fun, and I wouldn't surprised if we see something like this implemented in ESO. For instance, in DAoC there was a massive dungeon called Darkness Falls. It was both a PvE and PvP dungeon. Each realm had its own entrance to the dungeon and the very top layers of the zone were PvE spots. It started with lower level mobs, and as you worked your way down it increased. Once you reached the lower levels you really would need a group to fight through the mobs and maneuver around the dungeon. Now added into this was the PvP as well, and it tied in with the frontier zone in DAoC. Whichever realm held the most keeps in the frontiers, had Darkness Falls unlocked for their realm. If Albion had the most keeps held, DF was unlocked and all the realm could enter it and PvE (or PvP if they found any other realm members still inside before it got locked to their realm). The XP and loot inside DF was pretty good so all the realms were constantly out in the frontiers taking keeps to try and open it up for their realm. The idea of having higher level mobs in the lower levels of the dungeon was also good because in order to work your way to the other realms entrance you had to go through the lower levels; so in order to even reach the other realms entrance you would need a group or two. Needless to say, the lower levels of the dungeons made for some epic PvP fights. I hope we see something to this effect in ESO.

So for those worried about dying all the time its as simple as just not going out into the PvP zones (Cyrodiil), or doing any instanced PvP. You will still be able to PvE and do raids in all the other zones. But the open world PvP will undoubtedly affect the rest of the world.
