Body types.

Exactly what it says; will we be seeing different body types in TES:O? Are we all going to magically be the same size, ala every TES game ever made? Yes, in Skyrim you could choose your "weight", but all that did was make you more buff. Not exactly what I'd call different body types.

Personally, I'm really hoping this won't be the case. I want to see fat mages, ripped thieves, and lanky warriors. It'd make the world so much more diverse, with such a seemingly miniscule change.

Considering the screenshot, I think there will be he men and cleavage women. In colorful cartoon costumes. But hey, it's only one screenshot, perhaps there is more to it.

That's actually a good question and would be very interesting to see. But I would imagine we would all be the same size just with different accessories and basic things like face, hair, skin color changes.
That kinda reminds me of something one of the dev's said in one of the Skyrim videos. "You go up to the North where the Nords are and the men are all big and burly and they all have beards; and the women are big, burly and they all have beards." Haha still gets me.

All the MMO's nowadays have very little customization, so I doubt it. Everyone in WoW has the same gear sets that all look the same. Everyone in SWTOR looks the same. At least in DAoC you could dye all your armor/cloaks/weapons to any color you wanted. You could put guild emblems on your shields and cloaks. You could also make your character short, medium, or tall height. I'd like to see something like that implemented in ESO. And what's the deal with cloaks nowadays? No one puts them in anymore, and if they do it looks [censored]. The cloaks in DAoC looked awesome, and having one hooded dyed black made you look badass. Characters running around in a medieval fantasy setting without a cloak looks cheesy. So considering we probably wont see any personality or customization in those areas, I highly doubt we will see different shapes and sizes.

I have seen the "Other" screencaps, and there appears to be some variety between Character Types, but as far as I can tell? It isn't as extreme as SWTOR's slider that makes you either a Twink, morbidly obese, or between.

The lead designer on TES:O comes from DAoC, so I wouldn't rule out anything from that game just yet, given what we know. I really hope everything you just listed makes it into the game, though, that'd be fantastic. It's the little things that really make an MMO. You can have great raids and all that, but if the "world" just feels like one giant lobby while you're waiting for the next match to start, you didn't do your job.

I don't know, I was pretty content with the first few pictures that were released. The characters actually seem to have vaguely realistic proportions, rather than triangle boobs and tree trunks for arms.

well, SWTOR has 4 different body types, the ones for men are good, women not so much. If its the same engine then its likely to have some form of customization like that.

It really depends on how far the devs want to push it, personally i think it will be a strong feature in TESO.
