How to turn off HDR?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 9:15 am

Or whatever setting is causing the brightness to auto adjust when looking around from light to dark areas. I feel like I'm watching the game through a cheap digital camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I find the game unplayable until I can change this.

That line isn't in my .ini file. Do I have to add it under display?

Same problem here.
Looked in the INI and no "bDoHighDynamicRange=0" line.

Bumping this because this is giving me serious headaches. It's not the hdr option and i found that and changed it and no difference. It's when you look around at like the sky then ground and it turn the brightness from bright to dark real quick. I can't stand it. Does anyone know what setting to change????

Haha, too true. What's the deal with this game anyway? Had absolutely no problems with Morrowind, Oblivion or Fallout. How can there be so many problems?
