Some tweaks to run Skyrim better ?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 5:07 am

Ok, so my game just arrived, i;ve installed it, and i have some performance problems.

My rig is:

i5 750 @3.6ghz
6gb ram ddr3
gtx570 @850Mhz core and 1970Mhz mem clock
SSD 60gb ( game installed there)

I can play it on all maximum, but sometimes the game plays at 60fps, and some times when i move the mouse starts to drop at 37fps, and feels laggy, and some stuttering.

There are some tweaks to improve the performance ?

OR, what setting is the most demanding from the options menu ?

TONS of people are having issues, regardless of how good their PC is. Bethesda screwed up BIG time.

Oh, so i am not the only person with performance issues, i have a good pc, but i think the game needs some optimizations patches.

Waiting for other feedback regarding this issue.

I've heard others saying the same, loads of us are having trouble with GTX 580 cards though, definitely something going on.

I've got a decent rig, Phenom II x3 OCed to 3.6GHz, HD 4850, and I'm getting 20-40fps regardless of my settings. It's a joke.
