surround sound : V

while playing this game i noticed 1 VERY ANNOYING i can hear the voices/sounds that are behind me like someone talks and i cant hear him if i face the otherway i THINK its because of 5,1 or whatever surround sound is there anyway to force it to stereo (or if i am wrong and its not the surround sound then what is the problem and how do i fix it?)

just noticed its not from behind but the right evrything thats exactly on the right side talks with low volume

try going into your playback devices in windows then click configure - there should be options to change stereo surround etc

thanks but after getting so angry that i pulled out the sound cable and put it in every (computer!!!) hole there was i found out that the cabal connected to my monitor wasn't 100% plugged in (for over a year now!!!) no wonder the right box wouldn't make any sound when i tested it with my realtec audio drivers i feel so stupid right now XD
