Keep making noise everyone

Hines comments to IGN that "this is only happening to a small group of customers" is classic dirty spin. Don't let them marginalize this. It's looking like it's ready to snowball into something bigger, if it gets enough momentum behind it. I again want to point out to everyone that they didn't send out PS3 versions for review (there's an article on IGN stating this http://ps3.ign.com/articles/121/1212080p1.html). I also want to point out that this defect would have been glaringly apparent during development and testing. Scandal sounds about right.

Posted this on a now locked thread...I simply don't trust them anymore because they make games that are potentially great but always grind to a halt. I have had problems with all their releases across at least 4 different gaming platforms and even the patches don't eradicate the major problems. I thought with this supposedly new game engine and past mistakes they would have learned but I guess me giving them money over the years has not helped raise the awareness of their shortcomings. They rushed this one out the door and now we are left to beg for the actual product we paid for in good (misguided) faith. Their attitude will be their undoing eventually - even huge profitable companies fall when they forget about their core customers.

Okay, that's a fake twitter profile and kind of unhelpful. Funny and valuable as satire, but unhelpful.

What is telling is how believable this tweet seemed. It certainly wasn't out of character with some of his other interactions with followers and others interested in the game.

A Google bomb would come in handy here. A Google bomb is when there is a massive coordinated effort to run a search term up to the #1 trend. If thousands upon thousands of people could search something like "Skyrim PS3 lag." Or something similar we could jack the search term up to #1.

Sending emails to all the major gaming sites could also help gain more attention to this issue. So far the only "major" gaming site I have seen mention this is Kotaku, and even that site is considered the fringe of the gaming community.

Twitter bombs would help as well. Keep hammering them about this issue.

Also spread the word on Facebook or any other social media sites you use.

Lastly take it to the national media, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, etc. etc.

Actually, if you do look up Skyrim PS3 lag, quite a few hits come back.

I would keep complaining. Fallout 3 did this after the save hit about 10 megs, never mind the constant crashes and random freeze ups. We all know those got patched up right? Right? This isn't even a week in yet, you'd think they'd HAVE to do something about it this time.

Yes, but it's not a trend. If enough people use a search term it will become the #1 searched term on Google.

Then Google bomb away. I've already punched it in like thirty times today, and will probably punch it in thirty more times before tomorrow.

I can't log in... it's down for maintenance at the moment, but once it isn't, I shall post.

So, maybe I'm missing something here, but it looks like the PSN is down for maintenance, and this is keeping me from logging in to add to that discussion.

They have made MILLIONS from this game. If they don't fix it they are criminals. Nothing less.
