I just tuned into Travel Channel and I see Jessica Chobot apparently hosting an episode of Sand Wars. I just have to say WTF is she doing there?! What does Sand Wars have to do with video games?!

I had never heard of this person until I played ME3 and someone mentioned she is some sort of journalist (who plays a journalist character in ME3).

She does the IGN videos on the Xbox dashboard, I used to like her videos until they started just showing cheats in order to get achievees

Same here; I think her inclusion has led to a few questions about EA's relationship with IGN. Of course there's no suggestion that they're buying reviews or anything like that.

Her name bothers me: is that Chobot as in "robot" or Chobot as in "Robbo", or something entirely different...?
