I love DW, but some fights I would really appreciate some kind of shield. But overall I decided not to, so I am not spreading perks everywhere.

thanks for the input guys. i am currently level nine on my new character and i decided to go with one hand+ shield. i probably wont talent DW but I can always switch to it if i need the extra damage. and for the guy that was having problems on master at low levels, it's not any better as a sword/shield character with block. i still die in 2-3 hits if i'm not careful and even when i do block i take a bunch of damage.
